The Aylesbury Hindu Temple and Community Centre is one of the most prominent cultural community and has something for everyone. Aylesbury Hindu Temple organisation is formed by a group of friends living in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Our Objective is to develop cohesion amongst our hindu community by organising a variety of forthcoming festivals and cultural programs. To engage and educate young people especially children in teaching principles of social inclusion and shared traditions. To increase cultural awareness and diversity in Buckinghamshire and nearby areas (North of London & Oxfordshire). Hindus make offerings to a Murti. A murti is an image of the main God, or a god or goddess. The Hindu building for communal worship is called Mandir (Hindu Temple). Worshippers ring a bell when they enter the Mandir. The Aylesbury Hindu Temple is dedicated to different gods and is the focus of religious life.
